Events information

The Gardens provide a tranquil, lush setting for many outdoor events. In the past the Friends and other groups have hosted sculpture exhibitions, open garden rambles and guided walking tours of the Botanic Gardens, community picnics, bulb planting days, national Botanic Gardens Day events and many more. The Gardens are not only a great venue for simple pleasures like walks, play, exercise, meditation or a picnic, they are also perfect for celebrations, community events and family gatherings, big and small.
