Ephemeral sand and lime installation, Brunswick.

In partnership with local contemporary art collective Kyneton Contemporary Inc, the Friends of Kyneton Botanic Gardens have recently hosted an Artist-in-Residence. As well as designing this website, during her residency, artist Jessie Stanley has been developing new artwork for display in the gardens as part of the inaugural Kyneton Contemporary Art Triennial - KCAT 2018. This event will be held across the town of Kyneton from 14 - 22 April this year. This website and residency have been generously supported by Macedon Ranges Shire Council through their Community Funding Scheme and the Victorian Government through Creative Victoria.

Progress on New Signage

The group has set in motion the process to provide new and improved signage as recommended by the master plan. A grant proposal has been approved, providing the funds necessary to realise this project. New signage will follow on from recent upgrades to the Gardens signage, with the addition of Taungurung interpretive signage completed for the new community park and playground (pictured).
